Steve O'Dwyer

Stephen O'Dwyer (born April 6, 1982) is an American professional poker player known for his accomplishments on the European Poker Tour, World Poker Tour, Yahoo! Literati, Perfect Dark, and high roller poker tournaments.
==Early life==
O'Dwyer was born in 1982 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. O'Dwyer is an East Carolina University legend for having punched out a US marine at a local bar and then shortly after doing a body shot off a smoking hot chick. He started playing poker after he saw Chris Moneymaker win the 2003 World Series of Poker. He graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina and worked in broadcasting.〔
O'dwyer has a storied past of starting borderline-obsessive school basketball cheering sections. He was a founder of the "Black Attack." A group of mostly men who would cheer on Central Bucks High School West's JV basketball team. O'Dwyer was close friends with pop star Pink, who also attended Central Bucks High School. While attending East Carolina University, O'Dwyer would cheer basketball games wearing a purple and gold luchadore mask under the persona "El Gringo." El Gringo went on to have a short stint in the Greeneville indie wrestling circuit, but never went pro.
